I no longer have to carry my wallet, this case fits 4-6 cards comfortably. If you're only storing 4-5 cards, the compartment has enough room for cash, a gummi or two, or even a bit of lip gloss to zip into the compartment without the extra bulges on the back. There is a small raised bumper on the front of the case, which I think is the reason my screen hasn't been cracked, although I've dropped my iPhone a couple of times on this occasion. It's well made, nothing has broken or malfunctioned since I bought it and I love its style. I would recommend this to everyone! If you're picky about how "bulky" your phone is and prefer to have the thinnest profile possible, this isn't the case category to investigate. In my opinion there is no downside to the extra body added to my phone, anyway it gives me more space to hold on to when texting etc. It's a great purchase!
