This quilt set is very pretty in person. That being said, it is too short width-wise and too long length-wise for my standard king bed, so unfortunately I'll be returning it. You can see in my pictures how the left side just touches the bottom of my mattress, while on the right side it only comes halfway down the side of my mattress. Then I had to double fold it at the top because it was way too long. You can't just flip it sideways because the print is designed to go in one distinct direction with its butterfly-like quilted patterns. Also, the two shams are much smaller than king shams, you can see how small they are in my picture compared to the king pillow cases behind them. I wish this worked out. If you have a queen maybe get the king so it fits your whole mattress and just deal with double folding it at the top. But for king beds, this doesn't work.
