So it works with my long HDMI run but if you open the case you can see the IT66311FA chip. This chip is only rated for 6.0Gbps, not 18Gbps as stated in the description. *Seems* to be working fine for now, but we'll see how well it holds up and if I have any issues with HDMI dropouts when streaming content at higher bandwidths.
