I was stupid and tried to bleach my hair and dye it purple. Of course it didn't turn out that great. I bleached them twice in one day because I couldn't get my natural dark hair light enough. After it dried I was appalled at the damage done and my hair wasn't even blonde lol. My hair was TOASTED. When I touched the ends, I felt it was pubic hair. Sorry for my description, but that's the best way I can describe it. I took a chance buying this from Revain. I was worried it wouldn't work since I never followed steps 1 and 2, but damn it worked. After watching tutorial videos on YouTube on how to properly apply it to damp hair, I was surprised at how much better it felt. This is not a miracle cure, ladies and gentlemen. I had to trim some of the ends, but not as much as I initially thought. I can update the photos when I have better lighting so you can see the evidence. Advice. Apply to damp hair. This will help you use less product. Part your hair and make sure your hair is saturated. Trust me, you don't have to use the whole bottle even if you have long hair. A small amount coats your hair. I have hair below my shoulders, I've done three treatments and there are many more products in my bottle. Also, use a wide toothbrush on your hair to make sure it's evenly coated. I left it on for about 15-20 minutes and then added a hair mask on top and waited another 10 minutes or so while wrapping it. After that I washed it off with cold water and a small amount of shampoo on the scalp area. I did not towel dry my hair as it can be caustic to brittle hair. Instead, I gently twisted my hair to remove excess water. While my hair was damp, I applied the oil to just the ends and let it air dry. My hair looks great! Good luck folks! If you just have dry hair you probably don't need to do all the steps I did, but I completely destroyed my hair. And I'm telling you, only one product has made my hair soft.
