It fits perfectly on my thick and heavy pillow top mattress
I was struggling to find a mattress protector for my upcoming move. All the ones I've tried before indicate that the depth should be sufficient, but when used they fail, in some cases very, very briefly. This one fits perfectly. My mattress is 17 inches deep and the queen size protector says it's 18 inches deep; as well as some others that I have bought and returned. The difference in depth measurement for the queen doesn't appear to involve stretch, so you actually get an extra inch of coverage so it fits snugly against the mattress and doesn't slip or pop out of the corner edge when you get into the issue.
