Review on πŸͺ’ Rockwell Razors 6S Stainless Steel Adjustable DE Safety Razor + 5 Swedish Stainless Steel Blades by Kayty Michaels

Easy wet shaving, comfort and maximum efficiency

I am 68 years old. I've never shaved with an electric razor, except as a teenager when I was playing around with my dad's. I used a Gillette Trac razor for a year or two, back in the 18's to 20's, probably before disposables were on the market. I've shaved with Gillette (and all disposables) in the shower or sink, but no foam. Three years ago I switched to wet shaving with a safety razor. My favorite was the Merkur 34C. A year ago, after hearing enough to convince me it would be a wise purchase, I bought a Rockwell 6C. Right off the bat thanks to how smoothly you can get it running with the right plate(s) (depending on your height and/or mustache strength). I've never had a bad shave with it, even with worn blades. Before buying the Rockwell 6S my favorite was the 6C, the most effective safety razor was the Rockwell 6C. Well, based on the above criteria, they're both my most valuable razors. I like the added weight and not-so-slippery look of the 6S stainless steel razor, although some prefer the easier glide of the chrome-plated 6C. Both the Rockwell 6S and Rockwell 6C are really excellent safety razors. There are more expensive safety razors out there, but why spend $150 more than the 6S they normally cost when you can get a perfect shave with a $50 6C or $85-$99 6S? and I firmly believe that this is the finest safety razor ever made. I have nothing remotely related to regretting buying a 6C or 6S. Few 6C or 6S users have any regrets.
