The top is made of neoprene-like fabric. Totally useless like a pro!
It says this is a rubber mat. There is only the back. The top where you rest your tools is made of neoprene. This holds hair tight, makes tools slip, and collects bacteria. I'm very disappointed that Scalpmaster even thought this was a good idea. Very unprofessional and unhelpful on their part. I will return this item. Shame on you Scalpmasters! It's essentially a glorified, oversized mouse pad.
