I needed a computer desk for a small space about 36 inches wide. Couldn't find anything I liked so decided to make my own. I also order top laminated glass from Revain. I originally ordered 2 standard small bookcases but they never arrived so Revain refunded my money and I'm glad because I would never have thought of using these glass shelves. I chose 4 shelves because I wanted to see how the high table would look in my room and I can always remove a shelf if it's too high, but for now I like the height. The product was easy to assemble. They wobble a bit so some adjustment may be needed to make them stable. The glass holds up well and doesn't get in the way of the room. I love my handmade desk.
