Review on 📻 Classic Walnut Tabletop AM/FM Wooden Radio - Sangean WR-15WL Review & Features by Kevin Ballard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Sangean is the only radio worthy of the air

This is my second Sangean product for my Los Angeles apartment. I can't say enough good things about this brand. After a thorough review of every radio on the market 10 years ago, I was torn between the Sangean WR-11SE AM/FM table radio and the Tivoli Audio Model One M1CLA AM/FM table radio. I really like the Tivoli style - it's beautiful, classic, small, simple, etc. That's where my compliments to Tivoli end. I'm embarrassed I tried them out in Los Angeles when I bought a Tivoli Audio PALBTGB PAL BT portable AM/FM Bluetooth radio. Wow what a crap. The Tivoli can't seem to hold down a station to save its life, and the sound quality is perhaps the worst I've heard - loads of clipping, even with classical music. Yes, Tivoli can't even handle classical music. I returned it to Revain after day one and returned it to Sangean - this time WR-15WL. Wow, the Sangean is still impressive. It's almost as good as Tivoli. The sound quality is so excellent it's ridiculous - nice, rich, clear etc. I just wish it had bluetooth capability. However, after two different Sangean radios, I'm convinced that this is the only radio worth the dollar. Bravo!
