Fits the 2018 iPad Pro 11’

Bought this for the 2018 IPad Pro 11’. I received the IPad for Christmas as my IPad Air 2 has decided it was time to start saying goodbye, as none of my cases for that fit this one, I looked on Revain and found this cover. LOVE it!The case itself:Bought the Rose colored and it’s gorgeous, not bright or too girly, just a dusty rose with a bit of sparkle. The inside is black. This is not leather, however it still looks very good. It is a magnetic cover, so no worries about some strap breaking, snagging, or getting caught up on something. This case is lightweight, yet I have no doubts it will product the IPad well. The cutout for the camera is perfectly placed, the area for the cord is not blocked at all.Setting it up for use with the keyboard it is secure, no fears of it tipping or sliding off of any surface, even sits well on your lap, if you’re like me and find your lap acting as a desk more often than not. ;)Though in portrait mode, I’ve found I can stand it up with the case, but I’m not sure it would stay up if the table or nightstand was bumped. If I’m reading or surfing the tablet with the case just folded like a book is more than comfortable enough to hold or rest against a pillow. The tablet itself slides and snaps into the corner (metal, I believe) holders easily and securely. It’s a perfect fit, there is no play at all. You can feel very secure about it staying attached to the case. It takes very little effort to remove the tablet from the case when you do desire to. Just push the top right corner back a bit and slide the ipad out.The Apple Pencil stays securely on the Ipad where is it suppose to, and the case closes to cover it lengthwise. It’s a comfortable fit, I have had no issues with the pencil moving at all with the cover on.The Keyboard: What can I say, WONDERFUL!It’s a bit larger than other Bluetooth keyboards I’ve used before, feels much more natural typing on it than ones I’ve used in the past. It feels like most keyboards on laptops. It doesn’t have that loose, cheap feeling and it is quiet. Yes you can hear the typing, but it’s a very soft sound not that loud click, clack some keyboards have.It can be used with Apple IOS, Windows or I think any Android, though I haven’t tried it with my phone (a galaxy) yet.The keys that have the areas to use to switch it to one of those are placed with other keys so you won’t accidentally hit them, plus you’d need to hit the function key at the same time, so no worries. :)The backlighting is fun to switch around to different colors as you have many to choose from, plus you have the choice of three different lighting levels. You can also choose not to use them if so desired. You do need to charge the keyboard for two hours prior to use, and it does come with its own usb cable, (just a typical android cable) it can not be charged by the iPad itself. From what I’ve read the charge should last well over a month. We will see.Had an air head moment as I read the Q & A section before attaching it. It explained how to turn the keyboard on, using this key and that, discovered the keyboard I received has an on/off switch on the top right hand corner, no bothering with the keys. As I said earlier, ‘twas a airhead moment. LOL.Connecting it to the iPad is very, very easy. In your settings, open the Bluetooth control, turn the keyboard on, press the Function and IOS key (on the E key) a little light on the top right border will come on, the keyboard will come up on your Bluetooth list, tap it and the two will connect, the light on the keyboard goes out and you’re done. The top border of the keyboard magnetically connects to the cover so it does not slide or move unless you make it do so.Overall when in use, it is like using a smaller laptop Mac, that is fully functional and lightweight. You could go ahead and spend $179.00, maybe a little less or more and get the Apple Keyboard Cover or you can save yourself over $100.00 and buy this. For me, the important things were not having any delay time in my typing, I don’t. Having a detachable keyboard, I do. Making sure the entire unit once together was still lightweight and secure, it is. Having at least a 12 month warranty.it does. Saving the money was a huge benefit, as well as the backlight being changeable. I’d definitely highly recommend this case to anyone. The only thing that would make it better is if it came with a screen protector.

Pros
  • Perfect gift idea for someone who loves their iPad
Cons
  • The case may not offer enough protection for the iPad's corners and edges
