Delivered very quickly (thanks Prime!), just what we needed for our upcoming trip, GREAT price. Very happy. We'll see durability, but these devices have been around for a while so I'm assuming it's fine. Well - some things were not clear from the other reviews and made me hesitate - also it looks like these reviews apply to old and new models of the same device so the review is misleading as one thing complained about , has been fixed. Here are the points I couldn't believe or understand: - There are two fully functional DVD players - BOTH with SD and USB slots - They can EACH be used separately or you can connect and one just transfers DVDs or whatever always by someone else. In fact, it becomes a "slave" device. - Again - BOTH have SD and USB slots and each plays DVDs on its own. ok but I think we can deal with it as is - Nothing I've seen mentioned a carrying case and none is supplied. I'd love to see that, but for the price I'm sure I can find a bag that serves the purpose well. Those complaining about it - well, unless the old model said it was definitely not in the description, so maybe it was just changed. The price dropped about $5 when I checked them out and I snapped it up as soon as I saw anything. I played a DVD by holding the unit and tilting and pushing it upright several times and there was no skipping. I used to test my old Walkman CD player this way (I know, meet myself) so I know how to simulate movement for the test. My SUV can't handle bumps like my car can, but it's not a cruise ship. So if your suspension is stiffer, could they slip on a bad road? We have mostly digital media, so I don't see that as a problem. Haven't tried playing anything digital yet. The actual test will take place in the car this weekend. The package also includes 2 (cheap) headphones that we won't need for a while, a car charger and a plug-in charger, and cables to connect these devices. The ONLY downside to the blocks themselves, but probably making it easier to manufacture, is that the connectors for the connecting cables are on the right of both blocks, so you have to route the cables to the opposite block, which only accepts the media. It's terrible? no Looks great? no But if you want to be beautiful, you usually have to pay more. I take cheaper and uglier. Also, I have to use them for a front-facing and a rear-facing child, and even if the cords reach, I'll probably need longer ones so the kids don't fiddle with them in the car. It's just annoying, but not a deal breaker. I am still very happy with my purchase. I think you can only charge one block at a time. I see the only disadvantage there. I wish the power cords were separate. Spring. The little dude will probably sleep in the car more so we can charge his device, and we still don't want them walking the whole drive.
