I have wanted to write this review for a long time. When my original Surface Pro charger stopped working, I realized too late that Microsoft had stopped manufacturing Surface Pro 1 chargers. Because of this, I was unable to use my 2016-2017 Surface Pro for over a year. I was heading overseas and decided to try restarting my Surface. After buying a faulty charger on eBay (one of the pins didn't go in properly), I was hesitant to buy another charger online and I was a little unsure of how the difference in voltage and current would affect the charger. Having used it for over four months so far with no problems, I'm so happy I decided to take a chance and buy this charger. because my Surface Pro is ready to use again. To take it a step further, this seller decided to add a nice travel case to store the charger. I believe the cable had a US plug, I just had to swap the US plug to the AU plug (I just reused the original Surface AU plug) and to my complete surprise the white charging light came on. and my surface was charging after a full year of inactivity. I'm so glad I chose this seller, the charger arrived just before the estimated date and my desire to use it was a success. I highly recommend this as a suitable charger replacement for the original Microsoft Surface Pro. Thanks very much!
