Decent display (after calibration) with bad HDMI cable

This display is decent once you calibrate it. When first plugged in, the picture quality is terrible and blurry. However, after calibrating the display settings on the display and on the computer, the image quality improves significantly. You need to know what you are doing to calibrate it or you will get confused. Luckily my son is into computers and was able to calibrate. It comes with an HDMI cable, which is strange as only one side works with the computer. I tested this cable on my TV and again only one side worked with the receiver. When I tried the other side, the TV said it was blocking the cable for security reasons. Think what you will, but I chose to use my own cable, not the one the company sent with the display. The display doesn't have a hinge, so you can't adjust the height or tilt, which may be an issue for some people. For optimal contrast, the display should be viewed from a smaller angle. You can buy a more famous brand for the same price.
