I've been using the Ohotter 5.5 inch mobile tripod for various lights and light bars for a few months. Given my 3-star rating, you'd think I wouldn't like the tripod, but that's not entirely true. You see, Ohotter is extremely simple and lightweight, which directly contributes to its stability. For these reasons, I would never put a camera on him. I use it quite often for fixed parking lights and it works well for them. So why only 3 stars? Well for $15 I think the ball head is a reasonable omission. Many flashlights already have their own tilt adjusters in the fixed mount, so it doesn't really matter. What I don't like is the telescopic shutter. Tightening the hose is significantly inferior to levers or buckles. The main issue with this is the lack of a visual cue to show when it's locked or unlocked. boo This mechanism may be why it's a few bucks cheaper than tripods with other types of mechanisms, but the savings are hardly worth it if you customize your tripod even halfway.
