I bought a 5V/4A charger with a DC plug that fits into the grommet. Please note that I had to purchase a completely irrelevant product: both the description and the manual mention an 'extra' power supply, but I think that's a mistranslation as they don't sell it. They only provided a 2.1mm DC jack on this hub. From what I've noticed, if the hub was NOT plugged into my PC, the USB-C ports would only deliver every 20W. Full-size ports seem to work better, although I still don't think they used the full 20W (my phone reported better charge times but couldn't seem to keep up). I hope it was just an issue with the way the power was sent from the PC to the ports. I used a USB extension cable that I unplugged from the power outlet. Unfortunately, that didn't help at all; USB-C was still charging while my computer was connected to the hub. The rest of the product was fine; Even the relatively small charge I got from the full-size ports was adequate, but given that part of the USB-C spec is designed to deliver high current, that's an underwhelming result.
