I don't even know how I worked before I ordered them. I crochet and cross stitch a lot (MUCH), often on the go (on the bus, in line, etc.) and hate carrying scissors with me. Even at home I mostly sit on the couch and for some reason rarely near the scissors. Decided to try it for fun and I've never been happier. I bought a cord and wear it around my neck like a long necklace (long because I want to be able to cut without losing weight and also while sleeping). I can see what I'm cutting off) and I actually got compliments on the necklace for not looking like the crazy artisanal accessory it is. that seem attached to everything you buy. No more worrying about cutting through a pair of socks or ripping a hole when I rip a plastic thing.
