Kensington lock worked as it should. I managed to use it on vacation. I was able to easily reset the code to something I remembered. I've never had trouble connecting or disconnecting the lock from my MacBook Pro (Spring 2011). It worked great and the "fast-forward" was a joy to pack. I didn't give it 5 stars because it didn't do anything *extra*, I couldn't use it to block anything else. It just seems like this feature could easily be built into something like this. Would buy again if looking for a new lock.
