Fantastic but case unusable

This is a great adapter that does everything it says and is almost perfect for my needs. Three USB sold me because sometimes I need to switch to my PC's KB and mouse while they stay connected to my PC. I liked that it wasn't dangling to the side, although I was concerned that unplugging all the cables might damage the USB-C port, but I ended up having to return this little device because it fits so snugly in the port (with good reason) that I can't use my suitcase with it and I don't want to take my suitcase off. I looked around and I don't think both cases could do that. That was a big bummer because the adapter is awesome.
