When I ordered this cable I wanted to replace some very long (20ft) RCAs that I had connected to my amps and chose this great simply because they are smaller and run flat, making them ideal for walking under carpet. But once I was done swapping cables, WOW, the sound quality changed dramatically; I get more bass at a much lower volume - with my Punch control it's there where it used to cut my subs completely. This cable makes a difference, especially if like me you are making the switch from CCA to this OFC cable; They ARE directional and I think that's why the noise cancellation is so good - they don't pick up the slightest bit of interference even when running right next to a short section of my 1/0 power cable.
