Review on πŸš€ Enhance Vehicle Performance with the Timken 510050 Wheel Bearing by Jay Swearengin

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Two failures in a row.

I won't say this product isn't genuine but I've had two bad builds in a row and never had a bad Timkin bearing - that's why I went with them. The first unit, the oil seal failed and bearing grease got EVERYWHERE on the inner rim, caliper, steering and suspension components. It was a nightmare to clean up. Revane came by and sent a replacement. I put a new one in with no problems and they were bad from the start - I have an obvious grinding noise from a bad bearing. The reason I say I won't say the product isn't legit is because I honestly don't have any conclusive evidence. All I know is that I've never had this problem before. The only thing I noticed is that of the two bearings I ordered, one had a black/brown seal and the other just black (I don't have ABS on this particular machine). The one with the black and brown print failed twice. The one with the two black seals (on the driver's side) works fine at first. Now I have a choice: either stick with Timken or buy a genuine Honda bearing from the dealer. I don't have the patience to take the knuckle apart and press the bearing out AGAIN, so I very likely go to a Honda dealership and spend over $85 on a part that should be $25 because I just can't do it don't trust him anymore.
