Bright, multifunctional and long

This is another multifunctional LED strip. It's a bit more expensive than some of the other options, but it also offers a bit more length. They're a lot cheaper than the Philips Hue options and come with their own app, allowing you to control them with Alexa or Google Assistant. You will receive two 32.8 foot spools. This includes a power module with built-in Y-splitter for connection to two casters with AC outlet, two casters with double foam tape (optional as the casters already have foam on the back), a remote control and various fasteners in case the foam rubber is not sufficient. The power module that sits between the connector and the LED strip is your remote controlled IR receiver and the brain that makes everything smart (within Wi-Fi). The length of each coil can be adjusted by cutting them to the length you want (if they last longer than you'd like). Excess LED strips can be set aside and reused with other RGB strip kits of the same type (these can be regular or smart as the strip itself is a regular RGB strip) with appropriate adapters. So don't throw excess amounts in the trash (never throw away anything that might come in handy later). If you have experience with LED strips, then it is not difficult and will quickly converge. The only extra step is to download the app (Ehome light) and add the module to the app after it is activated. You can then interact with other devices or set up scenes. For example, if you have this installed on your kitchen cabinets and the main kitchen lights are also connected to a smart switch that works with Alexa or Google Assistant, the light switch can be set to turn on both lights it is connected to. on, as well as LED strips. Obviously there are so many things you can do. Our only criticism of the app is that it should have images in app store screenshots that contain English so customers have a better idea of what it can do before downloading it. Luckily, this only affects preloading on the App Store. Double foam tape seems to work, although it doesn't work in all situations. You need a smooth, flat and non-porous surface to stick it to. If you're installing this on a different surface, you may need to find a clever way to mount it. Luckily, this works in most situations (e.g. under the counter, under cabinets, on the back of a table, etc.). You just have to consider the fact that the foam is thicker than the usual flat double-sided tape that many LED strip solutions come with (not by much, but on rare occasions, does that "might" concern you?). The connection with the app seems to work very well, and the remote also works if you point it properly at the receiver dangling from the module. It's a shame it doesn't support the Smart Life app instead, as it's more commonly used for other smart devices as well, but Alexa and Google options help bridge that gap. The music function is a bit more advanced than some other products that sometimes only give you three options. This expands this function a bit more. However, if you have people with sensitive eyes, most of the options will likely bother them. All other modes are good (various fading options) and you have a full color wheel in the app that can be slid to set any color you want. For some reason it's a bit difficult for them to match the color of a regular warm or soft bulb, but you can get so many other colors of your choice. We liked her very much. They have many features and functions, and the Alexa/Google integration always seals deals on these products. ** If you found our review helpful, please rate it helpful below so we know.
