So I was searching for a temporary replacement of my MK Microdermabrasion scrub (due to Covid, haven't been able to order some) and the reviews on here were decent. I got the order pretty quick and was pleased with the scent when I opened it. It's a moist, clay-like texture, with large granules. I was skeptical b/c I was hoping for a more fine granular scrub, but the product smooths on well. the granules are not sharp, they did not scratch my face but I definitely felt smoother after I rinsed it off. It doesn't leave my face dried-out like some other facial scrubs I've tried. I wouldn't call this an exfoliator in the truest sense: I have an oily face with large pores and frequent breakouts along my chin and jawline. I do use the Shea Moisture Black African Soap Bamboo Charcoal Deep Foaming Face Wash daily, which I love and really works great at preventing blemishes; but its hormonal and I will break out with deep pitted acne sometimes. So, weekly, I need a good exfoliation to smooth out my face lest I create more problems. The MK exfoliator is very fine and leaves my face smooottth. This Acure was about 2 grades less than I was seeking. But again, I really enjoy this product for a quick, light exfoliation. I would recommend you try it out, and see how it helps you. Hence, I was pleasantly surprised by this product, and am glad I found it.
