This is my first hard mouse pad so I don't have anything to compare if it's a good hard pad but I found that's what I've been told most often by people who are highly sensitive Playing Games People who play with these settings are more comfortable with a hard pad. So it wasn't too expensive for me I thought let me try and for the first 5 seconds I had a smile on my face and was very happy with how I felt. I also felt that small micro-movements of the mouse were more precise. This mouse pad feels great and changes no matter how you move your mouse. I think this mouse pad will be big enough for most people and for me it really is the perfect size. Also, the grip on the bottom of the mouse pad really does hold the pad in place much better than my old soft pad which was "Redragon P001 ARCHELON". I've only been using this mat for a day so can't say much, but if you think you want to try a hard mat I don't think you can go wrong with a Seihoo hard mat. I love this piece and will most likely never go back to a soft rug. Final Thoughts Appearance - 10/10 Comfort - 9/10 - This is a hard pad but there is a slight 90 degree edge around the mouse pad above the circle although that doesn't bother me much I would like to see an even smoother edge on it the latest models. Performance -10/10 - this works flawlessly and is much better than a table or a table without a cushion. The sound is 10/10 - there is some noise in the pad, but it's not that loud, I could even see someone using it in the office. The price is 10/10 - I think you get the price and I think it will last longer than any soft pillow as I assume this pillow is easy to clean.
