Tarnished Ring Green Finger

I am very disappointed with this ring, it turned my finger black and green and the ring has tarnished. The ring was advertised as sterling silver, sterling silver does not tarnish or turn fingers green, I have several sterling silver rings and have never had this problem. I like the style of the ring but am very disappointed that I've only had it a few weeks and now have a green finger and a tarnished ring.
