My dentist convinced me to try this product after brushing my teeth regularly - said it would prevent plaque and made me rinse my mouth with it for 30 seconds. It's burning! As I whistled, he said appreciatively that this thing "kills germs in your mouth for 12 hours!" Well, no wonder, it's probably killing everything around it. When I left and for the rest of the night I had an awfully strong metallic taste in my mouth and when I tried to eat everything was slightly sweet - no other taste. Strong, full-bodied coffee with halves and NO sugar tastes like weak sugar water. Dinner had a slight taste of library pasta and nothing else. Salt put directly on my tongue was not recognized. Why would ANYONE choose this stuff? It tastes terrible, contains as an active ingredient a chlorine compound used in pesticides and many other non-healthy substances such as sucralose (Splenda) and artificial colors, and spoils the pleasure of eating. That single dose of cytotoxin is still ruining my taste experience FIVE DAYS later and the metallic taste is still there - from ONE use! I wouldn't give this stuff to my worst enemy.
