My 9 year old is VERY sensitive to cuts and fabrics. It's a nightmare to find her clothes. I wanted her to wear something new for family photos and we ordered that at the very last moment. It arrived just as we were getting in the car to drive off so I was very concerned if she would wear it. She loves it. We ordered it a little larger (she hates being tight) so it would fit for a while. The fabric seems light but not too thin, very comfortable and does not restrict movement at all. Although it's not my favorite print lol it's all she wanted. I even ordered a smaller one because her 3 year old sister keeps trying to steal it. So thankful to have the Christmas cat print because now she's not complaining about the Christmas dress anymore! This is NOT a warm dress but she is hot and loves to feel cool against her skin. Thank you! I highly recommend you try this dress, especially if you have a sensitive child. All children are different, but I hope you will have the same success! We ordered 10-13 and she weighs 9.74 pounds and about 4ft 8in. It hits just below the knees and is a little loose, leaving room for growth. I hope the photos help, unfortunately they're not very clear, I can't find better ones.
