The mounting weight is spot on, the Gorilla Pod doesn't get in the way and you can easily manipulate the corners without worrying about it falling off. The Pro2 is much simpler and the mechanisms are much better (like the rotation why your phone might fall out) but the heavy weight is very out of place. Initially the shutter on the Pro1 phone was very difficult to open but after a few times I got the hang of it and found it very easy to manipulate. The only complaint is that your phone might fall out when you rotate the stand from horizontal to vertical, -1 star.
