I wanted to love it with all my heart. Once adjusted, our cats certainly have - our 3 year old, 9 lb cat loves to run up and down the whole thing madly when not stretched out in the hammock. Our more balanced 16kg knee isn't a climber like her sister so she just jumps to the lower level but loves to hang there. It is very durable and does not cause tipping problems. And my husband, who luckily is very good at reading instructions, put it together pretty quickly, so that wasn't a problem either. The problem was that even though the item was CARB certified, it was gassed within a few *weeks*. At first we didn't notice, but after an hour or two - seriously. was it a tree Factory? Who knows. After we put it together it got too heavy to lug it outside so it smelled upstairs like we just painted or something. And I think that was why the cats took longer to be friendly to him. But now that the smell is gone, we really love it and find it very valuable. My advice: if you love your cat(s), get one, but leave all parts in an innocuous place for a week or more before collecting them.
