These leggings are exactly what I was looking for. I am 5' 5", 125 lbs, fairly muscular legs, 28" waist, 37" hips, 30" inseam, slender rear, normally wear a 4-6 in pants. I got a size Small and these fit me really well but I don't have a very large derrière. Someone more endowed might find the waist in the back would pull down. The waist hits below natural waistline (as I wanted). Nice soft, lightweight fleece inside, smooth exterior that doesn't cause static inside my polyester hiking pants. Fit well under jeans, too. Legs hit at the top of my ankle bones. I bought to wear under pants, not as outerwear.
