I just installed this on my desktop computer running MyTV (Linux computer). I needed a wireless keyboard that I could use from 15 feet away to watch TV channels on my computer and watch pre-recorded shows. I also wanted a keyboard that I could grab and carry around with one hand. This keyboard ticks all the boxes and works great at 15 feet from my desktop PC with a small USB adapter plugged into the back of my computer. I also like that the mouse has an on/off button on the bottom to extend battery life. I'm not sure how you know if Num Lock or Caps Lock is pressed (there are no indicators on the keyboard, USB receiver or mouse for this). The only difficulty I had was finding a small USB receiver. I thought it wasn't sent in the box. I emailed the manufacturer and they quickly called me back (a few hours later) and explained that there is a small USB receiver with batteries in the mouse's battery compartment (there is a small slot that you plug it into, when you are traveling). . I can now get another of these wireless keyboard and mouse combos for my work computer and recommend them!
