Conflicted for Computers & Accessories

I'm looking to upgrade my 2013 13-inch MacBook Pro with a Retina display, so most of my observations are from my old laptop. Pros: 1. It is very light and has a 14 inch screen in a body that previously could only hold a 13 inch screen. Bootcamp, so a comparison of Windows and Windows) 3. It's very cheap! I'm used to paying big bucks for my electronics but wow this is great value for money. 4. I thought I wouldn't like the plastic case that comes off my Mac's aluminum case, but it actually feels quite nice. next to my 7 year old mac the text also seems a bit blurry (it's a 1920x1080 screen compared to a 2560x1600 screen on my mac). n). I know this Acer is half the price of a MacBook Pro at launch, but I was hoping that 7 years from now display prices could drop to the point of parity, or at least close to my Mac.2. The brightness could be a lot higher but it seems to be a pretty matte screen so it's not that much of a problem indoors (haven't used it outside yet). The spacebar is unevenly lit like the rest of the keys, so everything is nice and consistent except for the largest key - which I think is an ugly oversight. The included charger seems to wear out in weeks, not years. I wish they would buy and ship a USB-C charger as they include a powered USB-C connector. I know there's a cheaper Ryzen laptop from another manufacturer that did just that - the laptop has both a barrel port and a USB-C port, but it came with a USB-C charger, so I know it's possible in this price range. .5. Heat. The keyboard gets uncomfortably warm as the fingertips (when resting on the individual keycaps) get hot. This is not a pleasant experience for me.6. I've noticed a few random freezes, but it may have been due to missing firmware updates or something else, so I'm sorry (none as I updated everything through Windows Update). 7. If you move the display back and forth, you will hear a faint rustling noise. Doesn't inspire confidence Overall I'm undecided on whether to keep this laptop or return it. I know that if I pay twice as much as this Acer I can get a laptop that doesn't have any of these issues. Unfortunately, I'll probably have to go with an Intel processor at this point, as I don't see any premium Ultrabooks with Ryzen inside. And I'm not sure I'd want to pay more than $1,000 for a laptop with a weaker processor than this Acer. It all depends on what is most important to you. In my opinion, the value for money and processing power of this CPU/GPU could not be better in this price range. But there are many shortcomings that amaze me. Update: I ended up returning this laptop as the freezes became more frequent even after I completed all windows/driver updates. Maybe this will be fixed in future firmware patches, but I'd rather have a computer that worked "right" from day one. This is strange because as I mentioned the overall performance of this laptop is very impressive and far outperforms my old 2-core MacBook Pro, but I don't have these freezes on Macs (running Windows) - I think it has something to do with it to do lack of amd drivers or similar. In the meantime I'll keep looking. We're committed to AMD continuing to make amazing processors at a great price, just hope we can achieve a higher level of excellence :)
