My laptop only has a DISplayPort connector and my TV has an HDMI connector. I had to find a solution to stream the image to my TV. Be careful with this cable, it is not possible to switch from HDMI connector to DisplayPort connector. The advantage of this cable (as opposed to the adapter I already have) is that everything has a latch. The cable comes in a resealable bag with cable, cable tie and warranty card. At first glance, it exudes quality. The cable feels snugly wrapped, there's a clasp for tidy storage, and the connectors are protected and feel solid and well-made. It is logical, transmit picture and sound via this cable. Note that the image resolution may be limited to 3840*2160 at 30Hz depending on the device. I can watch Full HD movies without lag and with perfect flow. Conclusion: If you are looking for a good quality cable, you can buy it with your eyes closed.
