I got this for head shaving. It skips a lot of hairs, but repeated passes usually get them. As for the face, it pulls the hair unless you go over it first with the beard trimmer in its shortest position (i.e. uncoated). I find the popup trimmer pretty useless. Pretty flimsy and too bulky for detailed cropping. Instead, I use a special trimmer when needed. Shaving in the shower is nice, but when it's wet it's not that close to a cut. The biggest plus is the storage bag. There are many details, and the bag is definitely needed.
