Review on ✒️ Versatile 16 Pc Pen and Marker Set: Metallic, Outliner, Fineliner - Ideal for Black Paper, Card Making, Rock Painting, Ceramic, Glass by Denise Davis

Well this is an interesting set of pens/markers to check out as there are three different types of pens in the set. First, you have four black pigment liner pens in four sizes. Since I need a magnifying glass and the right lighting to determine the size of the pen tip, I used washi tape to write down the size and then wrapped it around the appropriate pen. So they are easy to use without having to search for a magnifying glass. You get 0.1, 0.4, 0.8 and 1.0mm tips. They write well and feel as good as any other pen of this type I've tried. Then we have four double line handles. I've seen these types of pens for sale here on Revain and was curious how they line up. I never found out how they did it, but they look really nice and they themselves look metallic with a shimmer when the paint dries. Not sure how I will use them but nice to have. The latest pens are 8 metal drawing pens. I wasn't impressed at all. I expect metal pencils to have a visible glow, even if I have to move the sketchbook a certain way to see it. In my white sketchbook none of them showed that they were metal. In my black paper sketchbook, I could see flickering blues, greens, and pinks. However, the gold pin and what I believe to be the silver pin showed no metallic properties at all. When using a white pen on black paper, you could barely see what you were writing and it took a few minutes to see how the white paper looked after it dried. Again, no metal parts. Like I said, they didn't convince me. Judging by the packaging, the two-line contour pens were a "bonus" in the packaging, and they shaped exactly as they were supposed to. The black pens worked well except I had to mark them personally as the size was too hard to tell. I appreciate the opportunity to try these pens, especially the double outline, as I wanted to see them in person. Now I wish I had more of these and less of the so-called "metal" pens.
