This product could have earned 5 stars but the design just doesn't make sense to me. The lights are not connected and go from light to light. All must be individually connected to the splitter. My goal was to place the splitters in a cabinet above the microwave, but I quickly found that the highest beam cable wouldn't even come close to achieving that. This causes two problems: Now you have to drill a big hole in your cabinets. enough to pass a splinter due to the design. I was able to disassemble the splitter to minimize the size of the hole, but it's still not necessary for the lights to be connected. The second problem this causes is the amount of cable you now have to hide. You have to crumple them up and hide them under the closets, not in the closet, which requires unnecessary work. If you look at the photos of the products that people have posted, you will see that the cord hangs down in several places.
