First steps. I got this thinking it might be an improvement over the Mx-4. Can't say if this is an improvement though as my thermal paste prior to receipt was very low to say the least as I have very little left. I still feel like it was enough, but enough to do what it was supposed to do. My standby temps on my Ryzen 9 3900x have always fluctuated between 40C and 50CI, which might make for a long, euphonious review, but let's face it, that's what I'm looking for in a review. The first thing I noticed was that it was thicker than the Mx-4, so it was very difficult to spread. Having applied this far, my temps are in the 35-40 range with just Discord and Google Chrome. Granted, that's not such a big drop in temperature from 15C, but hey, those temps aren't bad.
