Misleading size chart

I ordered size 7 for an early 9 year old but they are so tight he couldn't even get in. I can only assume they are made in Asia where sizes are usually smaller than Small. However, the quality was great! Good stitching, quality leather, soft fluffy lining - I'm so disappointed I couldn't return them for a larger size.
