SIGNIFICANTLY more bass than Skullcandy wired headphones. The best ear tips were the foam ear tips which weren't even pictured on the listing. I even tried using the foam tips that came with these BT headphones with the wired Skullcandy headphones to better isolate/seal the channels, but the Skullcandy still sounded crappy compared to these. I'm not sure about the noise cancellation. I don't hear any of the distortion normally associated with active cancellation, and I can hear the slight rubbing of fingers next to my ear. There's an annoying noise (pretty sure it's just due to the physical properties of the headphones, otherwise it's really awful active cancellation) when the wind blows past your ears. I'm sure all of their benefits are related to noise isolation and not active noise cancellation. Having received several noise complaints in my apartment, even after downsizing to Logitech's second largest PC speakers, this is a fantastic replacement for great wireless sound for music, games, movies and gym audio. I quickly tested the mic on my phone, but didn't use it enough to form a solid opinion on the quality of the mic.
