that's cool. I have a full size heavy tripod.
It's great with a mirrorless camera. I have a heavy duty full size tripod for my full frame DSLR. I wouldn't use that for this camera and my 70-200, for example. However, with my mirrorless and all prime lenses set to mirrorless, it's perfect. I have a Gorillapod, an Ultrapod, and a bunch of other small portable tripods and they just aren't strong enough or require too much fiddling to get the composition right. This tripod is a bit heavier but with a ball head, and the extra weight helps stabilize it for landscape and macro photography.
