nice, great price, pretty good shimmer

i love her; They are beautiful. I've tried many - sooo many! - and they were the closest thing to perfection for me. As for the flames, there are a couple of slow fades in the flicker sequence that look unrealistic but don't draw attention or anything. if the shimmer was better they would be perfect for me 5 stars. like the atmosphere, it's really nice. the light looks more or less orange depending on what other light sources are nearby. I played the video: the first half with candles in the cold light of a gray winter's day, the second half with the additional light from my soft white ceiling lamp. I can feel the difference. Anyway I think they match the color of my real soy candle as well as other and sometimes more expensive brands sold in Amzn and Red Bullseye stores. I also like that it doesn't light up the entire column. Some people are looking for just that, so FYI. The real draw for me (besides the price) is the beauty of the wax pattern. I bought Roman ivory and I just love it. It really adds something special whether it's lit or not. I think they look so regal sitting on my silver candle holders (thrift store). The remote control is pretty standard, the only thing I would like to note is the brightness control. There are only two levels, this is not the range of brightness as I thought. I keep mine low, nbd. The votives are ok, they weren't my main reason for buying this pack at all. but they are good quality and opaque enough to hide the bulb and battery pack while lighting. if i needed more votive candles i would buy the furora brand. Did you know that "fu" means "luck"? IDK if that's what fu in turmoil means, but I like to think of them as my lucky lights, just for fun.
