I am a vet who has gone through numerous pairs of readers when a violent dog smacks them out of my face or more frequently falls out of my breast pocket when I bend over examining an animal. I tried hanging regular readers from a string, but they got tangled up in my stethoscope or hung off the animal's face. This pair doesn't get in my way, rarely tangles in my stethoscope and has yet to touch the ground. I like them a lot, but of course they cost at least double what I used to pay for conventional pairs at the pharmacy.
