I have used travel bottles on two domestic flights and have only carried hand luggage. When the bottles I used for shampoo and conditioner first leaked, I thought it might be because I had a bag of liquids that was too tight. I'm TSA-pre and travel a lot. The second time I "got it" and wrapped the two bottles in a plastic bag before putting them in the liquid bag. I also very carefully placed the bag with the liquids on top of my hand luggage. Somehow it seemed worse. I lost half a bottle of shampoo and the conditioner leaked too. I am very surprised by all the positive reviews. I almost wonder if my bottles are defective. I can't even squeeze the liquid out of the bottles without the lid falling off.
