My 8 pound Yorkie recently had patellar dislocation surgery which resulted in an about 5 inch incision on the rear left leg led. After the bandages were removed, the hair began to grow back and the scar from the incision dried up. This led to her trying to "take the itch out of it," so to speak. I needed something loose and comfortable, but at the same time covering the incision so she wouldn't have to worry. Along with the padded collar, these pajamas did the trick.
