Review on Pet Products 3891 Thermo Kitty Sleephouse by Dana Johnson

My cat loves this bed! Now she rarely sleeps anywhere else. It stays really warm. If it stays there too long, it melts. She's a sphinx, so you can imagine how soft and cuddly she is when she's "cooked"! She kneads the dough perfectly and I don't have to worry about her piercing the heating element or cutting the wire. It's pretty soft and safe. (knock on wood) I cleaned it once and it rode through cars with no problems and was easy to take apart (pad) and put back together. It's really big, much bigger than she needs. I have a baby blanket there because she loves to snuggle up. The door should comfortably accommodate even the fattest of cats. Even cat-sized dogs will love this bed. My cat loves canopied beds like this and I'm so glad I found one that's heated! This will likely work for pets who prefer open beds since the door is large and takes up most of the front. I put a blanket over it to hang partially in front of the door for more privacy. It's really durable. Sometimes she moves it all over the place and tries to burrow under the covers and nothing is broken/fallen apart/torn. She doesn't like climbing up because the pillow sits so over the bed (because of the zipper) that it settles and feels unstable when you step on it. However, I could probably sit on it without fear of it collapsing. I just wish they were in more colors and patterns. In addition, the walls were padded on the inside and/or covered with fabric. It's a nylon material, which is good, especially for cleaning, but if I had to be picky, it's not as plush and comfortable as it could be. I will always have at least one of them!
