Brief review: Well made, true to size, good price. Only good things to say. Buy it. Review: Time to ditch my old pair of shoes. I seem to get out of a certain pair by a year. My previous slip-ons are also Steve Madden. (Who I have a different opinion on after watching The Wolf of Wall Street, but I digress.) They wore well, were quite soft the day I bought them, and lasted about a year. Good business. These appear to be similar. In principle, they do not have to be run in. Judging by my previous pair they will last me 9-12 months although they are comfortable now. The design of these shoes does not meet my expectations. I didn't look closely at the pictures. I'm not a fan of stitching on the side panels. The workmanship is excellent, I just didn't know it existed. The show is black and the stitching isn't very noticeable unless that's what you're looking for. Toe plates are also sewn onto the top of the sole. It's hard to explain in words but look at the second photo on the product page. It seems strange to me. Again, this is a black boot and you won't see it unless you look directly at the boot, but I don't like it. Aside from the odd design choice, I love the shoes. They are comfortable and very beneficial. I'll be back for some Steve Maddens in about 9 months. Conclusion: recommended. Attention: Please see the pictures on the product page before purchasing.
