I'm almost embarrassed to have given less than five stars for a reason that doesn't really matter. with quality, but I would like to point out a compromise to other buyers that they may not realize. big spiky bumps on the bottom: they worked great but were difficult to cut (lots of nasty plastic dust) and the bumps weren't that pronounced and you had to hold a big clumsy sheet of paper to cut the pieces out of: I didn't didn't know the "stingray rug" became anything special until I found it **searching** for old chair rugs. Thank goodness it's time now! SO MUCH easier!) consider the following: A lot of inexpensive stingray mats come in rolls, which while more flexible if you want longer Hs, means you have to SOFT it quite aggressively if you want it to lay FLAT ( and it almost always is, isn't it?). ESPECIALLY the last little piece that is rolled tightly, in a very tight radius in the middle of the roll. I've flipped small sections (turned inside out compared to how they were sent) and left them that way overnight and it worked, making some segments of the outer layer relatively flat fairly quickly, but the innermost layers require some fiddling into nice flat straight line segments. And none of my uses exceed 2-3 feet in length. use length, e.g. B. "Don't lie on my guitar amp/pedal/etc"). Fumbling with flattening?
