Except for a commercial toaster that runs bread through a conveyor belt, I don't think you can do better. I don't know if they have a 4 disc version for big families but it doesn't matter. The photos show a heating bowl, but it's hard to see that there are two channels in the plate. If you don't use the legs and put them directly on the toaster, you'll reduce the time by about 25%, the toast will cook faster. Even if you have cold butter, forget the microwave. Just put it on the toaster and it will soften. So let's look at using less power for a toaster running just one $$$ app, and you've got a few minutes to yourself. Victory, victory, victory!
