UPDATE: So I'm changing my rating from two stars to 4 mainly because they did their job and looked great when all my likes were put together. I cut the cord from the bags and used yarn instead to give them a more sophisticated look. I am satisfied with the appearance of the bags. They are definitely not burlap or linen. They're actually pretty cheap considering what I was trying to make (cool rustic style). I'll see how they fare after wearing them for a bit as souvenirs and post a photo to accompany this review.
