Want an honest review? And here are the bulldogs. I love them, but they burp and fart almost non-stop. My 9 month old male is a normal gas plant and my 7 month old female has just come into heat. If anyone has females going into heat, you know the smell of sewage and death they leave in their wake for weeks. God this is awful. If I don't let my dogs out in the middle of the night, my deer leaves surprise #1 or #2 from time to time. What's all this about? My two smelly bulldogs, who I still love, have their own room. Before this filter, as soon as I opened the door in the morning, a short dog breath, sometimes the smell of urine, or a good shot of my favorite product to start the day, there was always some kind of bad smell. We put this filter in room 2 24/7 and I haven't smelled anything since. Twice already I let my female out of the cage and went to smooth the covers and found a surprise in the corner, literally looked at her and still didn't smell her. Now I have to smell the blankets to make sure no one is involved in an accident because I can't smell anymore. It's strong enough to kill the smell of two bulldogs, which to me is amazing. In another room, in my bedroom, in front of the filter, every morning when I rolled out of bed and went to the bathroom for my daily ritual, I had to blow out an ugly cluster of who knows what my nostrils called home. As a dog owner, dander and hair are common and I'm allergic so this was to be expected and has become a daily ritual for me. I put a filter in my room, and the first night when I get up to go to the bathroom, I take a handkerchief and blow. and nothing. Literally nothing. This little filter kept out dust, allergens and anything else that got up my nose while I slept and woke up to breathe! That's great! worth your money! Update: As of October 16th I have four of these (in each bedroom) and two large ones (one upstairs, one downstairs) and my house is usually odor and allergy free. I had no problems with the ones I had (noisy motor), the manufacturer sent me a free replacement and very quickly. I still give five stars.
