Multitasking between hospital, classroom and research. level of professionalism. Something that would go well with my suit but not too much if dressed casually. Not to mention having to get rid of my backpack with a strap that was worn out and starting to fall apart. Dark brown is neutral and acceptable. The leather is also of good quality and should stand up to frequent use. You can't see it in the picture but the top has a zip closure which is a huge bonus for me too when it comes to protecting my files. It fits my iPad and Mac Book Pro without bulking up. I'm 5'10", so the shoulder strap was an issue. It fits quite comfortably, though, without slipping off. CONS: As mentioned, the bag doesn't sit up straight when placed on a flat surface, instead it keeps falling front. Of course I can fix it. It's annoying, but I just flip the bag the other way so it rests on the wall/shelf (worth one star). After ordering and returning 6 bags. I'm delighted with this very practical beautiful work bag.
